Udayan Care
Year of establishment: 1994

Mission of the NGO - To Regenerate the Rhythm of Life of the Disadvantaged.

Udayan Care seeks to engage socially committed individuals in bringing about a world in which each disadvantaged child enjoys a supportive family environment, opportunities for self-development and higher education, the dignity of self-reliance, and the ability and desire to give back to society.

Udayan Care is a Public Charitable Trust, working for the last 14 years, for the quality care of disadvantaged children and women.

Udayan Care is constantly striving towards providing better shelter, education, healthcare and life skills to disadvantaged and orphan children.  We are venturing into building more homes across India and believe that by contributing one day in a year, one can help change the entire life of a child. The donations raised will be utilized towards providing shelter and family-like environment to numerous underprivileged children across India.

Milestones achieved:

We have been successful in bringing up 10 Children’s Homes across India and have already undertaken many more initiatives to shelter more children, and their dreams. We are currently housing over 150 children and the number is only rising by the day.

We have undertaken a program called Udayan Shalini Scholarship wherein we strive to provide quality education to disadvantaged girls free of cost. We conduct a number of workshops and seminars for the girls that help them in choosing careers and guide them towards an empowered future. Currently there are 1200 girls, from 6 cities across India, registered under our USF programUdayan Care is constantly striving towards providing better shelter, education, healthcare and life skills to disadvantaged and orphan children.  We are venturing into building more homes across India and by contributing one day in a year, someone can help change a whole lifetime of a child. The donations raised will be utilized towards providing shelter and a family-like environment for numerous underprivileged children across India.

An Udayan Outreach initiative for the affected children of HIV + Parents; it provides financial and mentoring support for such children. Presently more than 64 children are being supported through this programme. Parents are assured of a Home for their children should they pass on.

We also offer programs to impart various skills that help in earning a living. We have Computer learning centers and stitching centers across Delhi and NCR.

This is to encourage individuals, students and corporates to take up volunteering assignments with us. All our programmes are very volunteer intensive. We have been receiving students from India and abroad who join us to fulfill their course requirements
